Raeleen B. Brown
2018-20 Queen of Soul
Raeleen Brown is a 22 year old graduate from Virginia Union University with a degree in Biology. She was crowned Miss Queen of Soul 2018 -19 on October 13, 2018 during the 50th Annual San Antonio Queen of Soul Pageant. She will reign during the 50th Anniversary Year of Queen of Soul, Inc. As the 50th Queen of Soul I enjoy the honor and privilege of representing the San Antonio Queen of Soul organization, while inspiring young men and women to pursue their aspirations is a high honor.
She is a native of San Antonio and the daughter of William Brown and Patricia McKinley. She is a member of Sherman African Methodist Episcopal Church. Raeleen says when she is not working, she enjoys listing to music that has great energy, painting, playing sports, singing and serving what she considers great causes. She enjoys spending time with family, friends and her dog.
Raeleen is currently studying for the MCAT in pursuit of admissions to medical school. Her goal is to be an Orthopedic Surgeon and serve her country as a military physician. She loves being given the honor and distinct privilege of being 2018 Queen of Soul.
She says as a representative of the San Antonio Queen of Soul organization she has the privilege and honor to be given the opportunity to visit numerous schools and utilize other media platforms to inspire young ladies to pursue their dreams and goals. As part of the Fiesta Royalty Family, she says that she treasures each opportunity offered from meeting the PMO members, attending Fiesta events and bringing a smile to a child’s face and meeting new and interesting people.
